Job Title: Genovo Technical Product Specialist

Salary: £25,000 to £35,000 basic dependent on experience and qualifications, plus an annual bonus (up to an additional 10% of basic salary) based on company performance and personal achievements.
Basis: Full time ideally. However, we are very flexible and open to part-time working.
Location: Anywhere. We employ a ‘hybrid’ remote-working model and all of our employees are set up so they can work equally effectively from home or in the office. Although we would love to see you in our offices in Shrewsbury from time-to-time, this certainly isn’t a deal breaker.
About us and the opportunity
We are a dynamic and supportive tech company specialising in workflow and automated document generation solutions; and our flagship product is an online suitability report builder. As a result of our continued success we are looking to expand our team and take on a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual whose primary responsibility will be to provide technical support to our ever-expanding user base; as well as help to maintain and develop the Genovo product.
Your main duties
In this role you will mostly:
1. Technical user support
- Help onboard and proactively support new users.
- Provide technical support to our existing user base.
- Work closely with the Customer Success Team to ensure users receive a smooth and successful experience throughout their customer lifecycle.
- Maintain and develop support resources.
- Contribute to the content we produce. This could involve writing user tip blogs and Knowledge Base articles for example.
- Support key account management activities.
2. Product maintenance and development
- Help ensure that the Genovo product and its content is kept up to date with changes to taxation and legislation, and continues to comply with regulatory standards and reflects industry best practice.
- Maintain regular contact with our users to identify opportunities for new product features and enhancements.
- Create new report content.
- Contribute ideas for new products within the financial services marketplace, and help develop and realise them.
- Help test new features and products prior to release.
Your experience / qualifications
To be considered for this job you will have:
- At least 3 years relevant experience in financial services.
- Made progress towards relevant industry qualifications. As a minimum you will be working towards a Level 4 qualification.
- Good technical knowledge covering a broad range of financial planning areas; or a desire to learn and study to achieve this (covered by our training allowance)
- A good understanding of suitability reports and related regulatory requirements.
