Genovo Suitability Report New Features & Updates September 2021 – Our integration with Dynamic Planner is live

Team Genovo

During this development cycle we’ve been busy working behind the scenes refactoring our integration hub. Amongst other things, this will allow us to extend our existing integrations as well as add new ones more quickly and easily.

So straight out of the blocks, we’re super pleased to unveil our newest addition to our ever-expanding library of integrations and announce that our integration with Dynamic Planner is now live.

What does the Dynamic Planner integration cover?

Once activated, the integration will allow users of Dynamic Planner to pull in real time the most up-to-date attitude risk profiles and their descriptions directly from Dynamic Planner’s award winning psychometric risk profiler into a report created within Genovo with just a couple of clicks.

For further information about the data that is currently made available via the integration click here.

How do you set up the integration with Dynamic Planner?

It’s really easy to integrate your Genovo and Dynamic Planner accounts. Included below is a link to an article from our Knowledge Base that provides step-by-step instructions that walk you through how to do this. But as always if you’ve got any questions, just give us a shout – we’re here to help.

How do I set up an integration with Dynamic Planner?

What about the existing Dynamic Planner ATR Profiles?

The existing Dynamic Planner ATR Profiles (static version) will be deactivated and removed from the Attitude to Risk Profiles Library in the next couple of weeks. Therefore, if you wish to continue to use the Dynamic Planner risk profiles in your reports we would suggest that you activate the integration for your user account as soon as possible.

What should you do if you haven’t got a Genovo account yet?

You will need an active Genovo account before you can set up and activate the integration. Don’t worry if you don’t already have a Genovo account, you can sign up for a 30 day free trial of Genovo via the Genovo website by clicking the orange ‘sign up’ button in the top right hand corner of every page. There’s no risk, no obligation and you can cancel at anytime.

You’ll find more information about our plans and pricing as well as our 30 day free trial on our website.

If you’d like to see how Genovo works before you sign up, then check out this demo video in which Kate Wells, our Head of Customer Success, runs through some of the key functionality of the Genovo suitability report app and shows how you can write an investment suitability report with Genovo.

Extending the Dynamic Planner integration

Now that the integration with Dynamic Planner is live and our integration hub has had an injection of steroids, we’d love to hear from you with any ideas you may have as to how the integration could be extended further to help speed up the report writing process for you and your users.

Other bits and pieces

Proposed Changes to the Normal Minimum Pension Age

Back in July we updated the content of the ‘Pensions’ Tech Notes in the Appendix – Technical Notes section to reflect the proposed changes to the Normal Minimum Pension Age and the introduction of a Protected Retirement Age as set out in the recent draft Finance Bill.

intelliflo office bug fixes

As part of this release we’ve also taken the opportunity to squash a few bugs associated with our integration with intelliflo office including:

  • The Power of Attorney Granted? field now maps correctly to the corresponding client field in Genovo.
  • Non-current self-employed incomes will not be included in the client’s Monthly Net Income.
  • Mortgage plans will now pull through ok even when the Redemption Penalty check box is not ticked.

Let us know what you think

If you’ve got any suggestions – no matter how big or small – as to how we can improve Genovo, or there’s a new feature you’d like to see added, we’d love to hear from you. Send us a message with your thoughts and we promise we’ll get back to you.
