How to set up and use the integration with Plannr

Team Genovo

Following hot on the heels of the highly successful launch of Genovo v2, we’ve got another exciting release for you – a ground breaking two-way integration with Plannr.

As we move forward with Genovo 2.1 and beyond, we will be actively looking for opportunities to develop new integrations and enhance our existing integrations to help achieve our mission of realising a comprehensive and fully integrated solution that will allow our users to create highly personalised, reader-friendly and compliant reports in a fraction of the time it takes when using more traditional methods like Word templates.

To this end, if you do have any thoughts or ideas as to how we could best achieve our mission, please do get in touch – we’d love to hear from you. As you know a lot of the new features we’ve implemented over the years have come about as a direct result of customer feedback.

What does the Plannr integration cover?

Once activated, the integration with Plannr will allow you to:

Client data

  • Seamlessly pull client data from Plannr into Genovo.
  • Update integrated client data at any time.
  • Convert an existing client you’ve previously saved in your Genovo Client Library into an integrated client, and update their details.

For further information about the client-related data that is currently available via the integration click here.

Plan data

  • Pull details of an integrated client’s pensions, investments or protection plans into a report with just a couple of clicks.
  • Update integrated plan data at any any time, for example at the client’s next annual review.
  • Convert an existing non-integrated plan into an integrated plan, and automatically update the plan’s details.

For further information about the plan-related data that is currently available via the integration click here.

Reports

  • Upload the report back into Plannr and automatically save it against the client record(s), and open it within Plannr’s Document Builder.
  • Make any necessary tweaks to the report content and automatically save these edits within the report in Plannr before publishing and saving the finalised report to the client record(s) in Plannr.
  • Use Plannr’s placeholders to pull in and automatically populate your reports with an extensive range of additional Plannr data points that aren’t currently covered by the integration.

For further information about how to upload the report back into Plannr click here.

How do you set up the integration with Plannr?

It’s really easy to integrate your Genovo and Plannr accounts. Included below is a link to an article from our Knowledge Base that provides step-by-step instructions that walk you through how to do this. But as always if you’ve got any questions, just give us a shout – we’re here to help.

How do I set up an integration with Plannr?

Where can you find more information about the Plannr integration?

You’ll find everything you need to know about how the integration works in our Knowledge Base.

There’s no additional cost associated with the integration, and existing users of Genovo and Plannr can set up the integration and get started in a couple of minutes.

If you’re a user of Plannr, but don’t as yet have a Genovo account, and would like to see more, you can book an online demo here.

If you have any questions regarding Plannr, particularly around their Document Builder, we’d suggest that you check out the Plannr Knowledge Base in the first instance.

What should you do if you haven’t got a Genovo account yet?

You will need an active Genovo account before you can set up and activate the integration. Don’t worry if you don’t already have a Genovo account, you can sign up for a 30 day free trial of Genovo via the Genovo website by clicking the orange ‘sign up’ button in the top right hand corner of every page. There’s no risk, no obligation and you can cancel at anytime.

You’ll find more information about our plans and pricing as well as our 30 day free trial on our website.

Finally, this is our first truly two-way integration, made possible by Plannr’s innovative Document Builder, and we’re absolutely stoked by how well it works, but please do let us know your thoughts too. As always, we’d love to hear from you!
